Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Recent Research and Development (IJRRD) welcomes submissions from researchers and practitioners worldwide. To ensure a smooth submission process and maintain high standards of quality, please carefully follow these author guidelines.


1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted: We accept the following types of submissions:

  • Original Research Articles: Full-length research papers that provide a detailed description of original work.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive overviews of topics, summarizing current research trends and developments.
  • Case Studies: Detailed reports on specific cases or projects, including relevant analysis and conclusions.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports on significant findings or preliminary results.
  • Technical Notes: Descriptions of innovative techniques or methodologies.

2. Manuscript Preparation: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format and must adhere to the following structure:

  • Title Page:
    • Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
    • Full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors
    • Name of the corresponding author
  • Abstract:
    • Maximum 250 words, summarizing the objectives, methods, key results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords:
    • Include 4-6 keywords that describe the content of the manuscript.
  • Main Text:
    • Introduction: Provide context, background, and the purpose of the research.
    • Materials and Methods: Detail the experimental or theoretical methods used.
    • Results: Present findings clearly, supported by figures and tables.
    • Discussion: Interpret the results, compare them with prior work, and discuss their implications.
    • Conclusions: Summarize the main findings and suggest future directions.
  • References:
    • Use Chicago style throughout the text.
    • Any software like Zotero, Mendeley etc. should be used for reference.

3. Reference Preparation:

  • Books:
    • Format: Author Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Place of Publication: Publisher, Year.
    • Example: Smith, John. The Future of Technology. New York: Tech Press, 2020.
  • Journal Articles:
    • Format: Author Last Name, First Name. "Title of Article." Title of Journal Volume Number, Issue Number (Year): Page Range. DOI or URL.

  • Books Chapters:

  • Report:

In-Text Citations (Chicago Author-Date System):

For in-text citations in Chicago style using the author-date system:

  • Single author: (Smith 2020, 45)
  • Two authors: (Kumar and Clark 2021, 58)
  • More than two authors: (White et al. 2020, 101)

4. Formatting Requirements:

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
  • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout.
  • Figures and Tables: Must be included within the text, properly numbered and captioned.
  • Equations: Should be clear and written using proper mathematical notation.

5. Submission Process: Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal's online submission system [insert submission link]. Ensure the following:

  • All necessary files are uploaded, including the manuscript, figures, tables, and supplementary materials (if any).
  • The manuscript is thoroughly checked for language and formatting before submission.
  • The corresponding author will receive notifications about the review status of the submission.

6. Peer Review Process: All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers assess the quality, originality, and relevance of the work. The review process typically takes 2-6 weeks, after which the authors will receive one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision
  • Minor revisions required
  • Major revisions required
  • Reject

Authors are encouraged to address reviewer comments carefully and submit the revised version within the provided time frame.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
